TTcpServer/ TTcpClient are NOT a replacement for the ScktComp components. THEY SUCK, DO NOT USE THEM! They were Borland's attempt at cross-platform components during the Kylix era (and have not been updated since), but they use a least-common-denominator approach to cross-platform and as such they are very difficult to use and very inefficient at what they do.
