Today, Team HD (comprised of Kogath of the MH Wikia, Aslind Samure and others) have released the beta version of their unofficial English Patch. Because the patch is still in Beta, the game is still not 100% translated but the team is hard at work to complete it. EDIT July 1st, 2016: Due to the latest expansion, 2.0, released recently, TeamHD has encountered some issues that will hinder progress on the patch. Install gvlk key kmspico 11. We thank you for your patience, but we have a problem regarding the the next version of the patch. As of Expansion 2.0, Tencent has fully protected their files with new ENCRYPTION, which makes us unable to access and work on it. Unfortunately, we'll have to go on a temporary hiatus until we can find a way to access these files and update the patch. Full thread. I was wondering why don’t you make a script that searches in a file for lines that are already translated and automaticly replaces those lines? I mean it will lessen your workload in long-term on your end and that way you will have more time to progress with your project and ofcourse playing the game. I can imagine aside translating you guys also want to enjoy the game. If you guys need 2-3 days to reapply the patch + testing every week doesn't that mean it cost you guys many hours of work in the long term?

Its not that I'm impatient for an English patch, I've played this game for 6 months so far. I started this game with the mindset there might never be an English patch and I was fine with that. I've gotten pretty used to the game in Chinese and learning some Chinese characters a long the way. But it just looks to it puts a strain on you if you have to reapply the patch every single week. Also the users waiting for the English patch have less time to enjoy it before it breaks again. Thanks again for your work TeamHD!

It's the fact the files are being modified in structure by tencent each update that's been slowing it down so they're having to go back over the previous work to correct it again. Also it looks like they're trying to include more translations each patch to keep things moving along which I can respect. Once things have settled and the patch nears full translation I can expect things will speed up. Don't think it's that easy to script the changes due to the fact each file is also encrypted. Are you aware that the standalone installer and the downloader don't have the same translations?

Two examples: 1) The text for the menu when interacting with another player (invite to party, add friend, etc). Using the downloader it's untranslated.

In the standalone it's all translated. 2) Post mission text. In the downloader none of it is translated (or very little). With the standalone it's mostly translated. Someone mentioned this in Discord last night and I verified it myself. I was using the downloader and then swapped over to the standalone and definitely got more translations.

Tencent has always been welcoming Foreigners to play their game, so you shouldn't have to worry about being banned at all. In fact, you can even purchase game money and stuff from their other games including this game MHO using Paypal. Is this game P2W? In the time that I tested it, it wasn't.

You can even sell your own game money for cash points, which is what I did in my tutorial video further down below. I sold some of my monies to buy cash outfits and other cosmetics.
