Clevo M57ru Windows 7 Drivers
Posted By admin On 06.10.19Hi I'm running W7 x64 Pro on a Dell Latitude E6410 and the mouse is a Sidewinder X8. If no intellipoint software is installed the wheel scrolls normally (is set to 3 lines per click) but the tilt wheel is not recognized, and obviously the macro function of the mouse doesn't work. Funny thing is that with other wireless laser mice that I have, such as the Logitech MX600 and even a cheap generic one, all buttons work with the generic W7 driver. As soon as I install the Intellipoint software (clean boot, latest version 8.15 for x64) the wheel scrolls whole pages per click. I've verified that Intellipoint is set for 3 lines per click as well. If I set it to 1 line, still the wheel scrolling is exaggerated, making it useless. I have tried it in a completely different (hardware wise) laptop (Clevo m57ru), with the only thing in common being Windows 7 64 bit.

The behavior is exactly the same. As well, I have no issues with my other wireless mice with the generic W7 driver. I've learned here that this problem has been around for quite a time. How is it possible that MS provides drivers that doesn't run properly on its own OS? What's the purpose of buying this high end mouse if it only works partially? I hate to sound pissed off. Hopefully someone here can help me out, perhaps a registry setting or something.
Regards Gonzalo Robles.

Windows 7 Drivers Asus
There are no official Clevo drivers available for this device for Windows 7, however it looks like the same model as the Sager NP7258 and their website does have Win 7 drivers available for the chassis.
